You are a fly (the best kind) perched on our shoulders. This is what you saw last weekend! :) /
Drive Mama Drive....taking the family south along the gorgeous coast of the Black Sea to
Neptune Beach. Bryan was the navigator and treat passer-outer!

You are enjoying the view of all our passengers, like Olivia (notice the wind whipping through her hair...this will come back to haunt her later)

Isabella...more wind

Ashlee, drying her tongue with the wind...and My favorite.....

Ethan! If he were a dog his ears would be laid back about now.

Once we get there, we're catching on that Neptune Beach is VERY popular, nowhere to park and we got stuck in a 10 mile, one way loop before finding our way off the parade route? Look at us all!!!

...and check out the wind blown hair. We call this the "orphan" look, still a cutie. She has an Uncle Brian Hawkes smile

We head for the big boardwalk that passes across a lake, so pretty, willow trees everywhere and something we think is awesome...fruit stands! I love that there is fresh fruit readily available everywhere.

I occassionally give the camera to different kids to see what they find interesting as we walk along. Sometimes it's trees or plants, this time, it was people...

'nough said!

here's something much more attractive to look at!

This is the debacle we found awaiting us at the shoreline...people so close and numerous it was NUTS! Thankfully they all cleared out about dinnertime. We rented some lounges (about $3 a chair) and set up camp with all our other Dome friends who shortly joined us.

When Bryan is around, Ulyssa is no further from him than an arms length. She loves her Daddy.

First Order of business, get Bryan into the water (we've been here 2 months now, this was his first time IN the water) He had a permagrin on his face all night.

Second order of the day....build a MEGA PERSON (Izzy, Ethan, Ash & Bryan)

TIMBER!!!!

Third order of the day, MEGA PERSON chicken fights....this a dome family from Idaho Falls. Juan Penas and his family. They have 5 kids!

Fourth Order, Water lifts! Go Ethan and Bryan

Me chilling on the beach with the little ones.

Juan & Ashley Penas (son HP) They are a really fun family, he looks tough with all his tatooes, but he is seriously the nicest guy ever!

After the beach we all ate the local favorite.....Schwarma! Basically they are giant wraps with fresh shredded meat from a rotisserie with french fries and vegetables all rolled up together. They are pretty good, but you have to tell them "light on the sauce" or it's dripping off your elbows

Bryan with his Schwarma

We didn't get home until close to midnight on this outing, but always get a kick out of our Romanian adventures, especially when we can laugh about them as a family.
As for flies, don't swat them all, especially if they are on your shoulder...could be a friend, along for the trip!
